Topic: Understanding suicide.
Charity is the suicide prevention coordinator for the Pilbara and is based at the Karratha Health Campus. She completed her nursing training at Curtin University and completed her psychotherapy training at Edith Cowan University and has worked as a nurse in metro and regional WA for over 10 years in hospital and community settings. Charity is passionate about the health and wellbeing of the individual and community as a whole and delivering holistic evidence-based care
suitable and appropriate for individual health needs.

Dr Temi Metseagharun
Topic: The range of psychiatric diagnoses in a rural and remote area.
Dr Metseagharun is a UK-trained philosopher-psychiatrist (MRCPsych/ CCT in general adult, old age and liaison psychiatry) and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). He works in Karratha with his team at Pilbara Mental Health and Drug Service, providing mental health services to the West Pilbara region including Point Sampson to as far west as Onslow.
