Practice Sustainability Coordinator
Nedlands, Perth WA (Hybrid)
Part-time 0.8 FTE (22 to 30 per week)
$90,000 to $101,000 (pro rata) per year plus superannuation, with tax-free salary packing options available
The role: Part-time 0.6 FTE (3 days/week)
As a member of the Workforce Solutions team contribute to the aims, objectives and culture consistent with the values of Rural Health West to ensure all Western Australian communities have ready access to qualified and experienced health professionals.
The Practice Sustainability Coordinator who will work collaboratively as part of a team to implement programs that support the viability of practices in rural and remote WA.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with rural and remote general practices across Western Australia to strengthen workforce capability and support long-term sustainability.
- Design, deliver and evaluate workforce attraction and retention initiatives that help practices become employers of choice.
- Monitor workforce programs and performance outcomes, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement and maximise impact.
- Coordinate the end-to-end administration of Practice Support Grants, including assessment, processing, monitoring and reporting.
- Develop, implement and maintain grant-related policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance, consistency and transparency.
- Build strong relationships with general practices, providing tailored support and facilitating access to professional services and resources where required.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, with demonstrated experience in program delivery, policy application and evaluation.
- Strong understanding of workforce attraction and retention practices, with experience supporting recruitment or workforce initiatives.
- Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to build relationships, engage diverse stakeholders and prepare high-quality written reports and resources.
- Experience working with people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, with a commitment to inclusive practice.
- A proactive approach and commitment to contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of rural and remote Western Australia.
- Understanding of primary health, specifically general practice.

Executive Assistant to Chief Executive Officer

The role:
We are seeking a hands-on EA to the CEO to join our team for a 12-month fixed term part-time contract (22 – 30 hours per week). This is a senior administration role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and working closely with the Executive Management Committee (EMC).
This position collaborates with and supports the Business Operations Manager with the Board Support duties, in particular managing dates involving the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors, and communication between the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, ensuring the efficient management of priorities, schedules, communications, and business activities.
- Coordinate strategic planning, governance, and executive functions to support the effective operation and achievement of organisational objectives.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, travel, correspondence, and briefing materials, ensuring timely preparation and follow-up of key actions.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the CEO, Executive Management Committee, Board of Directors, partners, stakeholders, and external organisations, facilitating clear and professional communication.
- Coordinate Board and Executive Management Committee meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation, minute-taking, action tracking, and governance support.
- Handle confidential, sensitive, and time-critical information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of strategic initiatives, projects, and organisational priorities on behalf of the CEO.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Substantial relevant administrative experience at a senior level, ideally supporting a Chief Executive Officer or Board of Directors.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organisational and time management skills and attention to detail approach.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Teams and calendar management tools.
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality and emotional intelligence.
- Valid Australian work visa or eligibility to work in Australia
