GP Locum Jobs Through Rural Health West
If you’re a vocationally registered GP looking for a short-term placement in a general practice or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) in remote WA, Rural Health West can help.
Our rural generalist and GP locum jobs are in regional and remote communities across Western Australia. GP locum placements vary in duration from one week to several months. We’ll work with you to ensure that your locum placement is matched to your needs and preferences. We offer a personalised service and will work together to find the right placement for you.

- Be a current Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine — or be vocationally registered.
- Have a medical board registration
- Have a current résumé, including contact details for two referees
- Have proof of Medical Indemnity insurance
- Be legally entitled to work in Australia
- Have an ABN
- Have general practice and/or ACCHS practice experience
