Would you like first-hand exposure to the career pathways, lifestyles and opportunities of working as a rural generalist in the Pilbara?

The Junior Doctor Pilbara Immersion will provide you with a tour of local hospitals, Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations and general practices in Karratha and Port Hedland and cultural and lifestyle experiences.

PLUS you will receive free registration to the Rural and Remote Retrieval Weekend in Karijini National Park, featuring hands-on emergency and retrieval training (valued at $2400).

Program Outline:

  • 7 day immersion experience designed to inspire junior doctors to pursue rural and remote medical careers in the Pilbara
  • Open to PGY1-PGY5 junior doctors with and interest in ACRRM Fellowship training
  • Only six places are available
