This education workshop is proudly delivered by Rural Health West in partnership with WA Country Health Service.

This Rural Health West CPD workshop, led by a team of emergency medicine specialists, is tailored for medical practitioners working in rural and remote settings who wish to refresh and enhance their expertise in managing cardiac emergencies.
The program combines engaging lectures, case study discussions, and hands-on simulation scenarios to strengthen participants’ knowledge, technical skills, and teamwork. These elements are designed to improve the identification and management of acute cardiac emergencies, ultimately leading to better patient care.

Eligibility: Medical Practitioners, GP’s, ED Doctors and ED/Theatre Nurses. Priority will be given to currently practising medical practitioners within the region.
Length: One day – 8.00am-4.00pm.
Cost: $250 – $350

Accreditation:
Pending accreditation with RACGP and ACRRM.

Payment structure
You will receive an email link for payment in an event confirmation email 6-8 weeks prior to the workshop, if successful. Payment is required within 10 days of receiving the email. If full payment is not received within 10 days, your place will be offered to another delegate.

Cancellation policy

  • Applicants who give notice of cancellation of four (4) weeks or more will receive a full refund of the workshop registration fee.
  • Applicants who withdraw from the workshop on or 14 days prior will receive a 50% refund of the workshop registration fee.
  • Applicants who fail to attend the workshop or who withdraw from the workshop less than 14 days of the workshop date are not eligible for a refund.
