REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN

This Rural Health West CPD workshop is designed to assist health professionals to develop and practise skills essential in unexpected crises, particularly with problem airways. Delivered in WA Country Health Service facilities, this workshop has a heavy emphasis on teamwork and the organisation of medical emergency teams incorporating presentations, skill stations and scenario-based crises with simulation manikins (SimMan and baby).

Eligibility: GP anaesthetists and theatre staff. Priority is given to those working in the local region. Should places be available, emergency department doctors and nurses are invited to register.

Length: One day. 8.00am-4.30pm

Cost: $50
The cost of this workshop is subsidised by WA Country Health Service through the Better Medical Care Initiative

Accreditation: This workshop has accreditation with The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) for continuing professional development points/hours and is approved for the Rural Procedural Grants Program, Emergency and Anaesthetics Grant component.  We do ask participants to contact their relevant college to ascertain your eligibility for the grant prior to attending.

This education workshop is proudly delivered by Rural Health West in partnership with WA Country Health Service, through the Better Medical Care Initiative.

 

Payment Structure
You will receive an email link for payment in an event confirmation email.   Payment is required within 10 days of receiving the email. If full payment is not received within 10 days, your place will be offered to another delegate.

Cancellation Policy
Applicants who give notice of cancellation of four (4) weeks or more will receive a full refund of the course fee.
Applicants who withdraw from the course 14 days prior will receive a 50% refund of the course fee.
Applicants who fail to attend a course or who withdraw from the course less than 14 days of the course date will be considered on an individual case basis.
