Professor Guan Koh grew up in Sarawak, trained in paediatrics in the UK and worked for 10 years in the NHS. In 1989, he and his wife migrated to Australia. He was a neonatologist for 32 years in NSW and QLD before returning to paediatrics in the Pilbara 16 months ago. His passion includes rural and remote health, teaching, research and the sea. His home base is in Townsville where he and his wife brought up four children. Guan remains impressed by the exciting potential of
paediatrics in the Pilbara.
Dr Jessica Chee is a general paediatrician at the Karratha Health Campus. She completed her medical training at the University of Western Australia and has more than 10 years clinical experience across multiple paediatric subspecialties. Jessica completed her paediatrics fellowship through the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She has previously worked at Princess Margaret Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital. Dr Chee is highly passionate about delivering the best quality holistic care for children and adolescents.
