Palliative Care Workshop

The Wheatbelt Health Professionals Network invite health professionals to attend an education evening on palliative care. This event will be presented by Garth Wolfenden who is a Palliative Care Educator/Clinical Nurse and will be supported by a Specialist Palliative Care member.

These workshops will cover

  • Intro to palliative care
  • Symptom control
  • Assessment of the palliative patient
  • Terminal care
  • Medications used in palliative care
  • Subcutaneous medications
  • Q&A

If you can’t attend a link will be available on ‘Teams’ for remote health professionals to join online and will be provided upon registration closer to event date.
