The Wheatbelt Health Professionals Network invites our health professionals to a wound care workshop presented by Beth Sperring, Clinical Nurse Consultant.

Topics for the study day will include wound healing and assessment; identification of acute and chronic wound infection and treatment; biofilm based wound management; wound hygiene; dressing selection; traumatic wounds; plastic surgery considerations; and case studies. Also discussed will be future trends in wound management. This workshop will include a wound debridement session at the end of the day.
