Rural Health West and The Kimberley Health Professionals Network would like to invite you to join us for a wound care workshop presented by Jenny Prentice (PhD, RN, Stomal Therapy Nurse, Cert., Palliative Care, Dip Project Management, Journal Editor World Council Enterostomal Therapists (Australia)) who will demonstrate how to assess and manage chronic and acute wounds. Dr Jenny Prentice has over 40 years’ experience in nursing, stomal therapy and wound management in acute, community, private and aged care sectors in Australia and New Zealand.

Case studies will be utilised for discussion and provide participants the opportunity to ‘touch, feel and apply’ many of the dressing products currently in use. Please bring some of the dressings you currently use.

Interaction is encouraged so come prepared to discuss and further develop skills in the management of wounds.
