Health Professional Network Coordinator: Great Southern Region

Part-Time | Based in Albany, Albany & Great Southern WA (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic professional to join our team.  The role involves working with regional health professional and organisations to build strong networks, collaborate on projects and coordinate the delivery of medical education events with community partners.

About the Role:

  • This role is ongoing and part time (0.6 FTE).
  • The role offers a flexible location within the Great Southern Region.
  • We support hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
  • We offer competitive remuneration of $81,053 pa (pro rata), plus superannuation.
  • We offer tax-free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 for expenses and up to $2,650 for meals per annum, plus vehicle leasing options.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Coordinate professional development activities and events requested by the Great Southern HPN Steering Committee, including social networking events, educational dinners, workshops and forums for regional health professionals.
  • Increase membership of the network through promotion and consultation with regional health professionals.
  • Maintain the GSHPN website and social media platforms to ensure content and data is relevant at all times.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within the region and across the organisation.
  • Participate in Rural Health West forums and conference events.

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in project and event coordination. Well developed organisational skills.
  • Strong administration skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously without supervision and constant interaction.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional networks and stakeholder relationships within the Great Southern Region.

Program Officer (pool)

Part-Time | Based in Nedlands WA (Hybrid)

We are seeking two or more Program Officers to join our team on fixed term contracts to cover parental leave and to support strategic priorities.

We are inviting applicants to apply to a pool of Program Officers for consideration for these positions. Program Officers will contribute to the delivery of priority programs.

Program Officers will be joining established and experienced teams and will assist in the delivery of the programs, under the guidance and direction of these teams.

About the Roles:

Regional Services Program / Outreach Health Services: Supporting more than 1,000 outreach health services across rural and remove WA to improve health access to healthcare for rural communities. https://ruralhealthwest.com.au/programs/outreach/

  • Fixed term parental leave cover, until February 2026
  • Part time 0.6 FTE

Professional Development Program: Provide support, education and training to attract workforce and reduce the high turnover of health professionals in rural Western Australia (WA) while ensuring equitable and proportional allocation of services within regional health service catchment areas. https://ruralhealthwest.com.au/programs/rural-health-partnership-initiative

  • Fixed term until 30 June 2026, with the possibility of extension
  • Part time 0.6 FTE
  • We have multiple program officer positions, including two part time 0.6 FTE positions.
  • Fixed term contracts.
  • Our office is a central location in Nedlands, Western Australia, and we support hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
  • We offer competitive remuneration $73,257 pa (pro rata), plus superannuation
  • We offer tax free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum.

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience in delivering program support, including administration, planning, coordination and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment within the health or community services sector, ideally within a rural environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management systems
  • Successful candidates must undergo and maintain a current National Criminal History Check

Conference and Events Support Officer

Part-Time | Based in Nedlands WA (Hybrid)

 About the Role:

We are a busy and dynamic team! Each year we host 2-3 conferences, 2 awards events and many other activities for rural and remote health professionals in both Perth and regional Western Australia. This role is working as part of the events team which currently consists of two Event Managers and one Events Officer, to plan, implement and execute our conferences and awards events. There is plenty of opportunity to learn and be mentored by the senior staff whilst developing your career in a well-supported organisation.

  • Fixed term parental leave cover until 30 June 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
  • Part time 0.5 – 0.6 FTE
  • Our office is in a central location in Nedlands, Western Australia, and we support hybrid and flexible working arrangements.
  • We offer competitive remuneration $66,916.12 pa (pro rata), plus superannuation
  • We offer tax free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum.
