The State Government has recently launched an expanded Acute Care and Response Team (ACRT) program in the Great Southern. This program aims to provide specialised mental health support for young people up to 18 years old who are facing mental health crisis issues.

This important service is designed to offer immediate assistance within the community, ensuring that help is available outside of normal hours to include evenings and weekends. Young people are now able to access support through phone or video calls, making it easier for them to receive the care they need at critical times.
