The Goldfields Health Professionals Network and Cystic Fibrosis Western Australia are proud to deliver this education event. This session will also include a Cystic Fibrosis update – The Changing Landscape. The focus of Chronic Wet Cough (CWC) education is to reduce the prevalence of respiratory illness and bronchiectasis in Aboriginal children living in regional WA. Following the session you will be able to join our growing network of CWC community champions in WA, collaborate and share resources and information, and receive updates and support.

Key outcomes:

  • Increased awareness of the prevalence of respiratory infection and treatment pathways, enabling more timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Increased understanding of CWC, often the only symptom of Protracted Bacterial Bronchitis (PBB).
  • Building a knowledge base of lung health resources, information and online training to improve awareness.
