Strengthening hearing health where it matters most EarTrain Workshop – WA May 2026

EarTrain, delivered by TAFE NSW, is a free training program supporting primary health professionals to identify and manage hearing conditions, including otitis media. The EarTrain and AHCWA team will be coming to towns across Western Australia, giving local health professionals the chance to upskill, build confidence, and strengthen hearing care in their own communities.

  • 1-day workshops will cover practical skills in: otoscopy, tympanometry, screening otoacoustic emissions, and an introduction to hearing screening.
  • The 2-day workshop in Perth will cover theory and practical skills in: ear anatomy, cycles of otitis media and otoscopy, tympanometry, screening otoacoustic emissions, an introduction to hearing screening and referral pathways

  • Albany – 4th or 5th May 2026
  • Bunbury – 7th May 2026
  • Perth – 8th May 2026
  • Kununurra – 11th May 2026
  • Broome – 13th May 2026

2-day workshop:

  • Perth – 14-15th May 2026
