Neonatal Stabilisation and Transport Rediness (NeoSTARs) is a follow on course from NeoResus. This course, which is created and delivered by neonatologists and neonatal nurse educators, teaches current up to date evidence-based approaches to neonatal stabilisation. Course attendance will help you and your team to understand and master the basic skills required in the care of any sick newborn. As well as technical skills, a high-performance team with strong supportive skills is necessary to deliver care in a safe and timely manner. This course will have a strong focus on advanced skills in crew resource management (team resources), communication and is recommended for a multidisciplinary audience.

This course is helping to support the quality of care provided during initial stages of newborn resuscitation and stabilisation which are essential to improve survival and long-term outcomes.
