Registrations are now open for the one-day Peel Health Forum 2024. Designed to meet interests and learning needs of Peel primary care health professionals, the forum will include interactive discussions, case studies and sessions delivered by experienced specialists, including local health professionals. The Forum is an opportunity to enhance your knowledge, network with peers and contribute to improving health outcomes for the Peel community. The program will be inclusive of:

  • E-cigs and vaping – the health impacts
  • Paediatrics updates
  • Voluntary Assisted Dying update
  • Eating Disorders services
  • Cardiology update
  • Back pain myths

Eligibility: Priority placements will be given to those primary care health professionals practicing in the Peel Region.

Cost:  $50.00 (inc GST)

Accreditation:

This forum is pending accreditation with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) for continuing professional development hours for the 2023 – 2025 triennium.

The Peel Health Forum is being delivered by Rural Health West and WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) through the Peel GP Incentive Fund Initiative – Education and Training Support Project.

Cancellation Policy

Applicants who give notice of cancellation on or before Saturday 25 May 2024 will receive a full refund of the course fee.  Applicants who withdraw from the forum between Monday 27 May 2024 and Friday 31 May 2024 will receive a 50% refund.  Applicants who fail to attend the forum or who withdraw from the forum on or after Saturday 1 June 2024 will not receive a refund.
